As the Housekeeping Supervisor, your primary role is to manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department to ensure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
Our ideal candidate would possess:
Associates Degree 3 years of supervisory experience (required), preferably in a Nursing Facility Responsibilities Organize the structures of the housekeeping and laundry departments, delegating responsibility as needed Recruit, hire, and orientate housekeeping and laundry personnel Develop, conduct, and schedule in-service training for all housekeeping and laundry staff Develop, implement, and evaluate and direct the housekeeping and laundry departments and their programs and activities Oversee the purchasing of cleaning supplies, chemicals, paper products, and departmental equipment as needed to meet departmental demand Perform regular environmental inspections in order to ensure the facility is maintained in a safe and sanitary manner according to facility policy.
Ensure assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable manner free from hazardous objects, equipment, or supplies.
